Looking around, I found it called all of these things. Sauce vs Jam vs Jelly seems to have to do with the consistency. Marmalades seem to include oranges or orange juice in the recipe. My wife makes it with kumquats from our tree to give it a citrus twist. This year, she added cinnamon sticks, which one of the kids dubbed "cranberry bones."
