Groups / Forums in the Fediverse
There is no support at this time for posting to Hubzilla forums from Mastodon.
As far as I know Zap has the only working public and private groups available to Mastodon folks. This is achieved by sending the group a DM.
Friendica and gruppe provide public group support using a normal @-mention. One could easily implement this mechanism for Hubzilla, but I would highly encourage thinking about the spam and privacy issues ahead of time. One will find in doing so that the mention mechanism is fatally flawed where private groups are concerned - even though it works OK for public groups.
